Spending Christmas vacation with Bailey, the Cockapoo, and Lola, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, near Cheyenne Blvd, in Sioux City, was a laid-back joy. These well-behaved dogs made every moment of my pet sitting experience special.
Greeted by eager tails, our days kicked off with playful zoomies and snuggles. Potty breaks were a breeze, with Bailey and Lola showcasing their training prowess, staying close and not chasing any rabbits.
Back indoors, it was couch time. Lola and Bailey's favorite spot was at the top of the couch, this gave them a perfect view out the window and of the living room. From there they took turns snuggling up – Lola even rested her chin on my head, cuteness overload!
Bedtime seemed to be their favorite as they raced to the bedroom, finding their favorite spots to nestle on me.
Throughout our time together, Lola and Bailey would sit and stare at the garage door. At first, this confused me as they don't go on walks and the front yard is off-limits. Soon I realized they were sitting there because they missed their parents! They were looking at the door, waiting for them to come home. Once I realized this, I made sure each dog received a little love and attention. It can be stressful not knowing where their parents are and I wanted to make sure they felt happy, safe, and comforted.
What makes DB Pet Sitter unique is my constant communication, the owners always knew when I was there and had constant updates through the rover.com app, reassuring them of the personalized care their pets received. As a pet sitter, ensuring Bailey and Lola felt at home was my top priority.
I’m looking forward to watching these Sioux City snugglers again!
